THE LAMP OF THE MESSAGE 

The emergence of the feminine is perhaps the most significant event 
in our time. We are authorized to honor this development by recognizing 
it as part of the Universal Worship service. There has been a great deal 
of discussion over the past several years about what to call this candle, 
what its divine attribute is and what texts (if any) to use. At the moment 
I (Prajapati) view this as an emerging phenomenon which it is too early 
to define once and for all. I have encouraged people to experiment with 
various forms and to note what feels right and works best. For the time 
being I suggest placing the candle after the Zoroastrian candle (where 
we place other traditions being added to the original form). The candle 
has been variously called the Divine Feminine, Gaia, the Divine Mother, 
the Goddess, Mother Earth. Several attributes have been used including 
"Divine Love", "Divine Feminine Spirituality", "Divine Nurturance." The 
Chrysalis Connection has developed some excellent resources for Cherags
